Join us on Friday, September 20th, from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM for a Nonprofit Board Development Workshop, held at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club, located at 2800 Bill Melton Road in Fernandina Beach. This workshop will be taught by Callan Brown, Senior Director of Partnerships & Programs with the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida.
What practices contribute to an effective nonprofit Board of Directors? This session is designed to walk participants through the ins and outs of building a successful Board using the three R’s: Recruitment, Roles, and Relationships. Learn the difference between staff and board responsibilities, how to recruit members to fill those needs, and ways to engage your entire Board that will lead to organizational strengthening and sustainability. This session is a great way to update your governance skills, re-energize your Board, or orient new Board members.
