AI in Action - Prompting Workshop at Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ)

Join us on Tuesday, March 31st, from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM for our AI Prompt Engineering Workshop! The workshop will be held at the Florida State College at Jacksonville Betty P. Cook Nassau Center, in Building A, Room 207, located at 76346 William Burgess Blvd., in Yulee. 

We are excited to partner with FSCJ to offer an in-depth Artificial Intelligence (AI) training session designed for business professionals with little to moderate experience in AI. 

Led by FSCJ instructors, this interactive workshop introduces participants to the emerging art and science of AI prompting, the key skill for effectively using generative AI systems.

Attendees will learn practical strategies for crafting clear, context-rich prompts that drive accurate, creative, and reliable outputs. Through hands-on exercises and real-world examples, participants will discover how to:

• Structure prompts for problem-solving, research, writing, and creative tasks.
• Use advanced prompting techniques (e.g., role prompting, multi-step prompting, chain of thought).
• Apply prompting to enhance productivity in education, business, and personal workflows.
• Recognize ethical and responsible uses of AI in professional settings.

This event will be in person and offered virtually. Seats for attending in person are limited. Please bring your laptop!

Cost:

In person: Members- $50

Virtually: Members- $40

In person & virtually: Nonmembers- $200

Advanced registration is required.
