“Brazilian Fantasy” will showcase the work of composer Antonio Carlos Jobim who wrote many popular Bossa Nova standards including, “The Girl From Ipanema,” “One Note Samba” and “Desafinado” plus groovin’ hits from Stan Getz, Astrud Gilberto, Sergio Mendes and more. Living and studying music and dance in Brazil for a year, vocalist Bonnie Eisele’s deep appreciation and intimate knowledge of Brazilian music and the Brazilian Portuguese language, along with the Les DeMerle Band’s masterful accompaniment, will transport you into the magical spirit of the music of this rich culture fused with American jazz.
