Don’t miss The Dynamic Les DeMerle Hittin’ The Blue Notes Band playing exciting original arrangements of the classic Blue Notes Records repertoire including “The Sidewinder”, “Killer Joe”, “God Bless The Child” and more. You’ll feel like you are in the front row at Birdland as the band transports you to 52nd St. and Broadway in New York City. Also, enjoy special tributes to Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Billie Holiday, Ray Charles and a special preview of the many styles to be presented at the 2025 Amelia Island Jazz Festival.
This is a hot show that hits all the cool blue notes, with Les DeMerle-Drums/Vocals, Bonnie Eisele-Vocals, Paul Tafoya-Trumpet and Flugelhorn, Pablo Duque-Tenor Sax, Doug Matthews-Keyboards and Special Guest, 17-year-old jazz prodigy, Spencer Carnochan-Alto Sax.
