We are excited to invite you to participate in the inaugural “Salty Soiree,” a beachfront oyster roast and shrimp boil party, to be held on Sunday, October 26th, at Ft. Clinch, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
In a landmark moment during NFLT’s 25th anniversary last year, we received an extraordinary gift: 396 acres of ecologically sensitive land adjacent to Fort Clinch, donated by Kathleen and Jack Thornton and the Thornton Family. This generous donation marks a significant step toward securing the island’s future.
To honor the Thorntons and celebrate this milestone, we invite you to our first-ever “Salty Soiree”—an unforgettable evening of music, food, and community spirit on the beach at Fort Clinch. Enjoy a classic oyster roast and shrimp boil, live music by Kellie Parr and the Sidecars, dancing in the sand, and festive cocktails.
