Picnic Concert in the Park featuring the Jacksonville Brass Quintet: On Saturday, May 11, 2024, we are pleased to present the Jacksonville Brass Quintet in Central Park. This concert is free and open to the public. We will have food trucks and invite members of the community to bring a lawn chair or a picnic blanket and sit amongst friends to hear live music in the park. The Jacksonville Brass Quintet is local to the Jacksonville area and is comprised of distinguished brass performers: Andrew McCormick, Bernard Flythe, Matt Monroe, Randy Tinnin, and Jemmie Robertson. This event will provide an opportunity for community members to enjoy one our beautiful parks and hear a free concert. May 11th is the day before Mother’s Day. Our hope is that people come out to celebrate community and family.
