About
Breakable Hearts LLC was founded in Feb of 2021. We are a mother-daughter duo and we love baking from our hearts to yours.
Our name comes from the chocolates we make. We make breakable hearts (and other shapes!) with premium chocolate poured into a heart shaped mold and customized per each customer. The heart is hollow so when we give it to our client they put a gift under the heart and the person who receives it, smashes the heart open to reveal the gift underneath using a mallet we provide. We like to refer to it as a decadent adult piñata.
We also specialize in macarons and cups of cake.
Liberty: “Traveling abroad,I tried macarons everywhere I went. I was obsessed and wanted to bring these amazing french cookies back to my hometown. I spent countless hours with spreadsheets in my kitchen trying to perfect my recipe. There were times I almost gave up and I just remembered my favorite quote by Abraham Lincoln “you have not failed, you have only found 10,000 ways that have not worked”.”
Megan: “These cups of cake are not traditional cupcakes. They are literally little cups of cake! We layer cake with mousse or filling and top it with a whipped cream frosting on top and our over the top decorations. We wanted to create a product that was bursting with flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. A lot of times people don’t like cupcakes because the frosting is too sweet or the cake is too dry. By using our whipped frosting instead of traditional buttercream people can eat the entire thing and maybe even a second!
We don’t have a brick and mortar shop but if you want to try our sweets you can fill out our easy order form and we will make them just for you.
