About
Since 1995, our volunteer organization has worked to provide affordable workforce housing for low -to moderate income families in Nassau County. We have built over 50 homes to date and provided over 70 families with homes. Our mission is to build family strength, stability, and self-reliance through home ownership. Families are selected based on need, income, and the ability to partner with us. Homeowners must be able to meet their mortgage requirements, which are based on a family's income. Homeowners and their team particpate in the actual construction of their home and must commit to 300 hours of sweat equity to qualify.
