Nassau County Ocean Highway & Port Authority

The Ocean, Highway and Port Authority is governed by five elected commissioners serving four year terms, representing the five voting districts of Nassau County. The Authority has policy-making, budgeting and general oversight responsibilities for all port activities and employs Kinder Morgan/ Nassau Terminals Inc., a private port operator company, to manage and administer the port. The Port Authority serves the public by encouraging economic development in Nassau County.
