The $1,000 Start-Ups Consortium

$1,000 Start-Ups is an Entrepreneurship, Financial Management and Life Skills program and micro-business incubator offered at no cost to members of traditionally underserved communities with business start-up or growth funding of up to $1,000 to those who complete the program. By the end of the eight month program the businesses are registered, launched, and the class has had opportunities to get feedback about their products or services, marketing, and pricing from area small businesses who are invited to display at three small business fairs.
